CHEF LEO AGUIRRE
At some point in everyone's life, a person will eat something that changes how they feel about food. For some people, it's a street hotdog on a corner in midtown Manhattan, and for others, it's a meal at a 3 Michelin Star restaurant.

My mind-blowing culinary experience occurred on a visit to Mexico when I awoke to the sound of my wife's Aunt Rosy in the kitchen preparing breakfast, and the heavenly smell of roasted tomatoes and peppers. This is when I had my first plate of chilaquiles on a bed of scrambled eggs. It was truly something new for me and being that I am of Mexican descent, I was saddened to realize that I had not been eating like this throughout my 22 years. So much time to make up!
I have traveled throughout Europe and the United States and have learned that eating well doesn't have to be boring, bland, complicated or even expensive. Fresh, simple ingredients and techniques combined with a passion for preparing food are the only things needed to create something truly amazing.
I received my training through the Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. In addition to teaching and cooking for groups both small and large, I also practice my craft in my home kitchen and on the backyard grill, creating feasts for my toughest critics-my family.
