About the Recipe

Taste the season in a new way in this classic cocktail with a hint of maple syrup and cinnamon.

Ingredients

4 dashes of Angostura bitters

1/2 table spoon of Maple syrup

1 1/2 ounces of Sisterdale Distiling Bourbon

Orange rind

Amarena cocktail cherries

small cube ice for stirring 

1 large (clean) ice cube

1 large cinnamon stick for stirring

Preparation

Step One

Place Maple syrup, 4 dashes of Angostura bitters and 1 1/2 ounces of Sisterdale Distiling Bourbon in mixing glass and stir until all ingredients are well incorporated.


Step Two

Add the small cubes of the ice and use the large cinnamon stick to stir. This will help infuse the cocktail with more flavor. ( stir until cocktail doubles in volume)


Step Three

Place a large clear ice cube into a low ball glass and strain cocktail over ice. Take a slice of orange rind and squeez  its oils onto the rim of the glass. Add one or two Amarena cocktail cherries and enjoy.
